I love nothing more than a full transformation of a project. Here you will find the before and after photos that really showcase my Interior Designer skills.
Project MJR.
This kitchen project was in conjunction with Kitchens For Living. I consulted with the client and recommended they knocked the wall down between the kitchen and dining area to allow for a more cohesive scheme overlooking the garden. I designed the new layout and recommended the two tone look of navy and light grey together with copper accents. I also suggested a wooden floor and navy feature wall for a cosy feel. This has since been featured on the John Lewis website.
Project GG.
This client had recently moved into the property and had a large lounge in which she was struggling to make cosy. We discussed the layout and I recommended a warm colour palette through the walls to the soft furnishings. I helped with the selection of all new furniture and soft furnishings. The log burner really sets the scheme off with the navy accents.
Project JMB
This client asked for my help in planning a new en-suite. I drew up a couple of floor plans for them and suggested the best way forward was to lose the bath and replace it with a walk in shower. I also recommended losing the wall that stepped out on the sink and run it flat to benefit from a bigger sink and the addition of a wall unit. This was then fitted by my recommended trades.
Project HMO
This client lived overseas and rented a property for multiple occupancy. The brief was to completely rip out and renovate the whole property within a 2 month window alongside their Project Manager and Contractor. I designed and supplied the fitted kitchen, bathrooms, all furniture and soft furnishings. Each room was measured then carefully designed before items were purchased and rooms were completed for handover. There were 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, hall stairs and landing along with kitchen/diner and outside garden.
Project AJB
This client asked for my help in converting their detached garage. It was currently being used as a dumping ground as you will see from the 1st image. They also wanted to extend it to add a home office and was getting ridiculous quotes from builders. I helped draw up a floor plan together with some CAD visuals and we discussed how the room would best function for their family and friends. I designed a stool area, comfy sofa area with TV and home office. I consulted on the colour scheme, all furniture and accessories, shopped for all items and fully styled.
